weBoost Drive RV Antenna

Overview

External, omnidirectional cellular antenna for weBoost RV booster systems. The mast adjusts from 7.5 to 20.5 inches and mounts to an exterior ladder or pole without roof penetration.

Key features

• Mast adjusts 7.5 in to 20.5 in via the included 13 in extension
• L-bracket ladder/pole mount — no roof drilling required
• No ground plane needed (omnidirectional shaft design)
• 25 ft RG-6 extension cable for interior cable routing
• MIL-STD 810H shock/vibration and IP66 weather rating
• SMB connector with SMB-to-SMA-Male adapter for Drive-series RV kits
• Spring base flexes off branches and high wind

Use cases

Built to upgrade or replace the external antenna on a Drive Reach RV booster install, it's the choice for full-time RVers and overlanders who need usable cell signal from remote, boondock sites. The ladder mount makes it a clean no-drill option for rental rigs or any roof you don't want to penetrate.

Is this a complete signal booster?

No. This is the external antenna only — the over-the-air half of the system. To boost signal you pair it with a weBoost RV booster head unit, such as the Drive Reach RV. On its own it does not amplify anything.

Which weBoost boosters does it work with?

It's designed for weBoost's RV booster line and is the matched external antenna for the Drive Reach RV. The included SMB connector and SMB-to-SMA-Male adapter cover the connectors used on the Drive-series RV kits.

Does it need a ground plane?

No. It's an omnidirectional shaft-mount antenna, so it doesn't need a metal ground plane underneath. That's what lets it work on a fiberglass ladder or pole where a traditional antenna wouldn't.

Can I install it without drilling into the roof?

Yes. The L-bracket clamps to an exterior RV ladder or pole, and the 25-foot RG-6 cable gives you room to route the run inside. That makes it a no-drill option for renters and fiberglass roofs.

How tall is it, and can I lower it for travel?

The mast adjusts from 7.5 inches collapsed to 20.5 inches extended with the 13-inch extension. Run it tall while parked for the most reach, then drop it to 7.5 inches for travel or low-clearance spots like garages and tree cover.

Will it survive highway vibration and weather?

It's built to MIL-STD 810H for shock and vibration and IP66 for rain, snow, and sun. The spring base lets the mast flex off branches and wind. Re-check the threadlocker on the mast joints after your first long highway trip, since road vibration can work fasteners loose over time.
