Safest Heater on the Market
Equipped with built-in carbon monoxide and flammable gas sensors, the Velit heater automatically shuts off in case of a leak or dangerous gas accumulation.
Superior High-Elevation Performance
Tested in Colorado at 11000ft +, the heater adjusts the air-fuel mix ratio based on elevation data from its barometer, minimizing carbon buildup and enhancing performance.
Bluetooth Connectivity
Control your Velit heater from up to 100 feet away using your smartphone.
Proprietary Combustion Chamber
The well-engineered combustion chamber, combined with a high-volume fuel pump, delivers unmatched efficiency and output.
Complete installation kit
The kit comes with everything needed for the installation, including the auxiliary fuel port connector for Sprinter, Transit and Promaster vans. Also includes cleaning straw.
Reliability
Velit air heater uses only high-quality and validated components to provide outstanding reliability. For example, it uses a Japanese glow plug with at least three times the lifespan compared to cheap ones. The controller is weather-sealed to prevent water damage.
* Two year limited warranty

Overview
12V fuel air heater for vans, trucks, and overland rigs. 14,000 BTU output (modulating 5,600–14,000 BTU) on gasoline or diesel. Rated to -40°F with barometric altitude compensation and built-in CO/gas sensors.
Key features
- Gasoline or diesel — runs on either fuel; taps your vehicle tank or a separate can directly
- 14,000 BTU / 4,000W — modulates 5,600–14,000 BTU; 20–40W operating draw at 12V; 120W at startup
- Barometric altitude compensation — adjusts air-fuel mix in real time; tested above 11,000 ft
- Built-in CO and flammable gas sensors — automatic shutoff on dangerous gas detection
- Bluetooth thermostat — 100 ft range; includes carbon monoxide sensor in the thermostat unit
Use cases
Year-round van builds, overland rigs, and truck campers that need reliable heat in cold climates or at elevation. The gasoline option is particularly useful for builds that don't run diesel — no separate fuel supply needed. Works alongside Velit AC units for a complete climate system.

What's the difference between the gasoline and diesel variants?
Mechanically identical — the heater body, sensors, and controls are the same. The difference is fuel type: the gasoline variant is tuned for gasoline combustion characteristics, and the diesel variant for diesel. Gasoline tends to perform more reliably in extreme cold (diesel can gel below about -20°F). Choose the variant that matches the fuel your vehicle already carries to simplify your setup.
Can it tap directly from my vehicle's fuel tank?
Yes. The heater uses a fuel pickup line that can connect to your vehicle's auxiliary fuel port or to a separate jerry can or tank. The complete installation kit includes everything needed for the connection, including auxiliary fuel port connectors sized for Sprinter, Transit, and ProMaster vans. You are not required to run a dedicated fuel tank.
How does the altitude compensation work?
The heater includes a barometric pressure sensor. As altitude increases and air becomes thinner, the sensor automatically adjusts the air-fuel ratio to maintain clean combustion without manual adjustment. This prevents the carbon buildup and performance degradation that affects fixed-ratio heaters at elevation. It was tested above 11,000 ft in Colorado.
What happens if CO builds up in the cabin?
The Bluetooth thermostat includes a carbon monoxide sensor. If CO concentration reaches a dangerous level, the heater shuts off automatically. The built-in flammable gas sensor provides a second layer — it detects propane, gasoline vapor, and similar gases and also triggers an automatic shutoff.
How do I control it?
The included Bluetooth thermostat pairs with the Velit app on your phone. You can set target temperature, schedule operation, and monitor the CO sensor readout from up to 100 ft away. The thermostat extension wire (10 ft) lets you mount the thermostat away from the heater unit.
How loud is it?
Approximately 45 dB on low output — similar to a quiet desk fan. On high output it runs around 55 dB. This is significantly quieter than a generator and roughly comparable to a diesel heater of similar output from other manufacturers.
What's in the box?
Heater unit, Bluetooth thermostat, thermostat extension wire (10 ft), rubber fuel line (6 ft), power cable (6 ft), XT60-to-cigarette-lighter adapter, magnetic air duct (6 ft), Velcro tape, auxiliary fuel port connectors (Sprinter/Transit/ProMaster), quick start guide, and full user manual.
