Will it fit my truck or SUV?
It is built for larger tailgates, full-size trucks and larger SUVs and Jeeps like the 4Runner, Bronco, and Jeep. Adjustable straps and quick-release buckles let it cinch to most large tailgates. It is not recommended for first-generation Tacomas; there is a separate, smaller bag sized for those.
Is it only for trash, or can I store gear in it?
Both. It works as a trail trash bag, then doubles as storage for firewood, muddy tools, recovery gear, or dirty laundry. The working load is 55 lbs, so don't overfill it past that.
Will my stuff stay dry inside?
The outer shell is water- and fade-resistant vinyl, and the top flap has a rain flap, so it sheds rain and road spray well. It is not a submersion-rated dry bag, so don't count on it for fully waterproof storage.
Will it scratch my tailgate finish?
Clean both the tailgate and the bag before you install it, and brush out the contact area after dusty or off-road runs. Trapped grit is what abrades paint, so a quick wipe-down after dirty trips keeps the finish protected.
