Toyota Land Cruiser / Lexus LX Attic — Overhead MOLLE Storage
Toyota Land Cruiser / Lexus LX Attic — Overhead MOLLE Storage
The Blue Ridge Overland Gear Attic is a mil-spec mesh storage panel that hangs from your ceiling grab handles. It fits the Toyota Land Cruiser 80 series (1991-1997) and 100 series (1998-2007), the Lexus LX450 (1996-1997) and LX470 (1998-2007), and the 2024+ Land Cruiser (250 series). If your rig is one of those and has factory ceiling grab handles, this attic clips on. It does not fit the 200-series Land Cruiser or the Lexus LX570. The mesh compartment measures 36 by 24 inches; the webbing sides run 68 inches end to end.
It mounts with mil-spec G-hooks that clip onto the grab handles, so there is no drilling and the whole panel comes off by hand when you want full headroom. The edges are bar-tacked 1-inch mil-spec webbing, and 550 paracord laces through cinch strings and ITW barrel locks to draw the load tight. Adjustable corner straps let you cinch a loaded attic flush to the ceiling so it stays out of your passengers' head space.
This is overhead storage for soft, light cargo only — sleeping bags, jackets, blankets, and clothing — not a structural rack for heavy or hard items. The open mesh doubles as a drying rack, so wet layers and towels can air out overhead while you drive. Attics are made to order in small batches and ship in about 10 business days. Built in Virginia and backed by the Blue Ridge Overland Gear lifetime guarantee.

Use cases
Reclaim the dead ceiling space above your rear passengers for bulky-but-light overland soft goods — sleeping bags, layers, blankets — and free up the cargo floor. The open mesh also airs out wet gear overhead while you drive, and the bar-tacked webbing edges take carabiner clips for hanging small items at the perimeter.

Will it fit my vehicle?
It fits the Toyota Land Cruiser 80 series (1991-1997) and 100 series (1998-2007), the Lexus LX450 (1996-1997) and LX470 (1998-2007), and the 2024+ Land Cruiser (250 series). It does not fit the 200-series Land Cruiser or the Lexus LX570. The attic hooks to the factory ceiling grab handles, so any of those rigs with stock grab handles will work.
How much weight can it hold?
Light, soft cargo only — jackets, blankets, sleeping bags, and clothing. It is grab-handle-mounted mesh, not a structural rack, so keep heavy or hard items out of it.
How does it mount, and can I take it off?
Mil-spec G-hooks clip onto the ceiling grab handles, so there is no drilling. It clips and unclips by hand, so you can pull it for full headroom or to clean it.
Will it bump my passengers' heads?
The corner straps are adjustable. Cinch them down to pull a loaded attic flush to the ceiling and keep it out of head space.
How do I clean it?
Unclip the G-hooks and pull the whole panel. The mil-spec mesh rinses and air-dries, which is also why it works for stowing damp gear.
