In our ongoing effort to maximize potential space in your vehicle, we saw a new frontier; your ceiling! The 4Runner Attic is made of mil-spec mesh and attaches to the grab handles with G-hooks. It can be clipped and unclipped as needed. Now you can store stuff in that vast space above your passenger's heads! And speaking of — the attic is adjustable. The corners can be tightened so that it doesn't get in the way of your passengers. That being said, we recommend this attic for only light-weight items such as coats, blankets, sleeping bags, or clothing. So if you decide to stow a bowling ball above your mother-in-law's head, we are NOT legally responsible for the resulting injuries!

Will it fit my 4Runner or Lexus GX?
It fits the 5th-gen Toyota 4Runner (2010-2024) and the Lexus GX 460 (2010-2023) — any model with the factory grab handles above the second-row seats and the cargo area. It does not fit the 6th-gen 4Runner.
What can I store in it, and how much weight?
Light, soft goods only — jackets, blankets, sleeping bags, pillows, and clothing. There's no rigid lip, so skip heavy or hard items; in a sudden stop they can shift loose. Soft gear stays put.
Will it eat into my rear passengers' headroom?
It can if you let it hang loose. Cinch the corner cords down with the ITW barrel locks to pull the mesh tight against the headliner, or unclip the front G-hooks in a few seconds when you're carrying a full back seat.
Is it hard to install, and can I remove it?
No. The front clips to the grab handles with G-hooks; the rear attaches once to the factory coat-hook bolts with a 10mm socket. No drilling. After that it clips and unclips in seconds whenever you want the space back.
Why mesh instead of solid fabric?
The mil-spec mesh breathes, so damp rain shells, towels, and tarps air out while you drive instead of trapping moisture overhead. It also keeps the panel light.
