How many people does the 1100 sleep?

Is it waterproof?

Yes. The shell is 400gsm proofed canvas over a heavy-duty HF-welded PVC bucket floor, with taped seams and full zip-down storm covers, so it holds up through rain. Re-proof the canvas every few seasons of heavy use to keep it shedding water.

Does it get condensation?

Less than a nylon tent, because canvas breathes, but any ground shelter sweats when a warm body meets cold outside air. Crack the gusseted end windows for cross-flow and it clears fast. In cold weather a desiccant pack in a corner helps too.

How big is it packed, and where do I store it?

It rolls down to about 45 inches long by 18 inches across and weighs roughly 35 pounds. That's a solid roll, so it rides best on a roof rack, bed rack, or trailer rack rather than loose in the cab. You can leave your bedding rolled up inside it between trips.

How long does it take to set up?

A few minutes. It's free-standing, so you roll it out, snap in the stainless dome poles, and set the trigger-lock ridge pole, no ladder and no separate footprint. Stake it down if it's windy.

Do I need to dry it before packing it away?

Yes, if it went away wet. Set it up or hang it within a day or two to dry out. Packing damp canvas for a long stretch invites mildew and shortens the swag's life. Dry it and it'll last for years.
