The Springbak Chair is a padded base-camp chair built around a heavy-duty coated steel frame and double-layered 600D polyester. It seats an 18-inch by 18-inch cushion at a 19-inch front seat height, with a 21.5-inch back, and carries a 330-lb static rating. The standout is the shock-cord band running down each side: it acts like a spring, so the seat flexes with you instead of sitting dead-flat. That gives long sits some give without a separate cushion.

It is built for a campsite, a tailgate, or a trailer kit, not a backpacking trip. Bare weight is about 14 lb, and it folds down to roughly 41 inches long by 10.5 inches wide by 10 inches tall, then slides into the included zippered carry bag with a shoulder strap. Large swivel feet spread the load and pivot on uneven ground, so it resists sinking into grass or sand the way thin peg feet won't.
