These brackets are designed to pair with XD quick release hitches, allowing fast removal of awnings and some shower tents for storage or fuel savings. They fit RTT channels spaced between 1.3 inches and 2.36 inches center to center and are height adjustable for ideal setup.
Stainless steel fasteners for the bracket assembly are included. M8 size fasteners to attach brackets to the tent are not included and should be sourced to match your RTT model. Some setups may require three brackets depending on awning weight and tent load capacity.

Does this set include the quick-release hitch?
No. You get three brackets plus the stainless steel hardware to assemble them. The matching RacksBrax XD Hitch (Triple) 9001 is the quick-release piece, and it's sold separately.
Why three brackets instead of two?
Plenty of awnings bolt up fine on two. A heavier awning, or a rooftop tent with a conservative per-position load limit, is where the third bracket earns its place. It spreads the weight so no single mounting point carries more than the tent can handle.
Will these fit my rooftop tent?
They fit RTTs with side channels spaced 33 to 60 mm (1.3 to 2.36 in) center-to-center. Measure your tent's channels before you buy. The brackets clamp to those channels, so the spacing has to land in that range.
What fasteners do I need to supply?
The assembly hardware is in the box. You supply the M8 fasteners that bolt the brackets to your tent's channels, matched to your specific RTT model, since channel hardware varies by brand.
How much weight can each bracket hold?
