The RacksBrax XD Hitch Triple is a three-point quick-release mount for big wing awnings. XD is the heavy-duty tier in the RacksBrax line, built for the large 180, 270, and 360 wings — not the small pull-out awnings the HD hitches handle. The Triple uses three mounting points: one on the vehicle side and two on the awning. That spreads the load across 20 kg (44 lb) per point, 60 kg (132 lb) total, so the bracket isn't the weak link when the rig hits washboard.
It fits wing awnings with 100–120mm spine track spacing, including triple-spine tracks running 2 x 60mm centres. Each point carries a key-lockable pin, so the whole awning drops off in under 10 seconds and locks back on just as fast. Pull it to shed weight before a tight trail, swap one awning between two vehicles, or store the awning indoors over winter without leaving brackets dangling.
The kit ships complete: mounting hardware, three covers/blanks for the empty sockets, two keys, and three locking pins with tethers. The hitches are molded from UV-stabilised, glass-reinforced nylon, so sun and grit don't chew them up.

Will it fit my awning?
It fits wing awnings with spine track spacing between 100 and 120mm, including triple-spine tracks running 2 x 60mm centres. Measure your awning's spine centres first. If they fall outside 100–120mm, you'll need the separate XD Awning Connector instead of this kit.
Should I get the Triple or the Double?
Match the number of mounting points your awning and rack use. The Triple has three points and carries 60 kg (132 lb) total; the Double has two points and carries 40 kg. Bigger 270 and 360 wings generally want the three-point Triple for the extra load spread.
How much weight can it hold?
Each point is rated for 20 kg (44 lb), so the Triple handles 60 kg (132 lb) total. Don't load past those numbers — the rating is per point as well as total.
How is it different from the HD hitch?
XD is the heavy-duty tier for large wing awnings with 100–120mm spine spacing. The HD hitches are for smaller pull-out awnings with 40–52mm spacing. If you're running a big 180/270/360 wing, XD is the line you want.
How long does it take to remove the awning?
Under 10 seconds. Pull the locking pins, lift the awning off, done. Putting it back on is just as quick, then re-lock the pins.
Is it secure when I'm parked?
Yes. Each mounting point uses a key-lockable pin, and the kit ships with two keys. The three covers/blanks plug the empty sockets when the awning's off to keep dirt and water out.
Will it hold up off-road?
The hitches are molded from UV-stabilised, glass-reinforced nylon, so sun and grit don't degrade them. Rinse grit out of the pin bores now and then so the quick-release stays smooth.
