The RacksBrax XD Awning Connector (Double) is a hole-position adapter for the XD Hitch system. It bolts to the male end of a RacksBrax XD bracket and shifts the awning hole pattern so Alu-Cab and Quick Pitch awnings line up without re-drilling your existing setup. The "Double" is the heavier-duty version in the XD connector line — it adds support for the alloy back mounting plates that heavier awnings use.

It also widens what fits. Standard XD Hitch mounting suits awnings with spine spacing in the 100-120mm window; this connector accommodates awnings whose spine spacing falls outside that range. That means an awning that wouldn't otherwise bolt up to your XD brackets now can, no new bracket kit required.

For heavier awnings, the Double connector adds support for the alloy back mounting plates those awnings use, spreading the holding force across the back plate. This is the connector hardware only — your RacksBrax XD Hitch brackets need to already be installed on the vehicle. SKU RBUS9120, ships at roughly 3.0 lb.

Overview

The Double hole-position adapter for the RacksBrax XD Hitch system. It bolts to the male end of an XD bracket and repositions the awning holes so Alu-Cab and Quick Pitch awnings fit your existing rack, including awnings with spine spacing outside the standard 100-120mm range.

Key features

  • Repositions XD Hitch holes for Alu-Cab and Quick Pitch awnings — no re-drilling
  • Bolts to the male end of an existing RacksBrax XD bracket
  • Accommodates awnings with spine spacing outside the 100-120mm window
  • Double connector adds support for alloy back mounting plates on heavier awnings
  • Connector hardware only — requires XD Hitch brackets already installed

Use cases

Use it when you're fitting an Alu-Cab or Quick Pitch awning to a RacksBrax XD Hitch setup whose hole pattern doesn't line up out of the box, or when you want to mount an awning with non-standard spine spacing on brackets you already own. The Double is the pick for heavier awnings that run alloy back plates and need the extra back-plate support.
