nCamp Elite Santoku-style Food Prep Knife

The nCamp Elite Santoku is a folding camp prep knife built around a santoku-profile Damascus blade in 10Cr15MoV stainless. The scalloped (granton) edge runs deep enough that cucumber, cheese, and tomato slices break loose instead of stacking up on the steel, and the broad face doubles as a bench scraper for moving a pile of diced onion straight into the pot. It opens to 10.7 in and folds down to 5.75 in, so it rides in a chuck box or a belt pouch instead of taking up a full knife roll.

This is a real folding knife, not a toy. A liner-lock holds the blade open and solid under cutting pressure, and signature cut-outs at the widest part of the blade shave weight without softening the edge or the spine you push on. The dark walnut handle is scalloped at the balance point for a clean handle-to-blade transition, with flush-mounted fasteners and a closed top so there are no bumps to dig into your grip and fewer spots for camp crud to collect. Knuckle clearance is set so you can use the full edge on a flat cutting board.

The Elite edition ships with a custom leather case with a belt loop. Bare knife weight is 172 g (6 oz). Designed in the USA. Hand wash and dry it — Damascus stainless resists corrosion but is not rust-proof.
