HFM Farm Nacho Regular Seasoning
HFM Farm Nacho Regular Seasoning
Nacho Regular Seasoning is the most complex blend HFM Farm makes — thirteen ingredients in a 3.4 oz shaker: cumin, onion powder, garlic powder, chipotle powder, brown sugar, black pepper, chili powder, paprika, ground mustard, rubbed sage, coffee, seasoned salt, and sea salt.
It's a taco-and-chili seasoning with a barbecue streak running through it. Cumin and chili powder set the direction, chipotle and coffee add smoke and depth, and the brown sugar rounds the edges without making it sweet. It's the one blend here that can carry a dish on its own — you don't need to add anything else to a pound of ground beef.
The sugar means indirect heat if you're grilling with it. No MSG. 3.4 oz shaker. Made in small batches by Joey and Brandi Federico in Jacksonville, Florida.

What do I use it on?
Ground beef for tacos and chili is what it's built for. It also works on beans and rice, over nachos, and as a dry rub on chicken and pork.
How hot is it?
Mild to medium. Chipotle and chili powder are the heat, and chipotle brings more smoke than burn.
Does it contain MSG?
No. Nacho Regular and Cowboy Cookout are the two MSG-free seasonings in the line, along with Tuscan Garden Mix.
How is it different from Cowboy Cookout Rub?
They share six ingredients — chipotle, brown sugar, black pepper, paprika, ground mustard, sage, and coffee. Nacho Regular adds cumin, onion, garlic, chili powder, and sea salt, which pushes it toward Mexican cooking. Cowboy Cookout is the simpler barbecue-focused version.
Can I grill with it?
Yes, on indirect heat. The brown sugar will scorch over direct flame. For open-fire cooking, the Monty's Original or Redneck Mediterranean rubs have no sugar in them.
Why is it called "Regular"?
HFM Farm's naming. It suggests a hotter version exists in their range — if you want one, ask and we'll check with them.
