Overview
The MAXTRAX Xtreme is the toughest board in the MAXTRAX range, built for heavy vehicles and repeat hard use. It uses 88 replaceable alloy teeth and a reinforced nylon body to recover a stuck rig without a winch or a second vehicle.

How is the Xtreme different from the standard MAXTRAX boards?
Same shape and length, but every tooth is replaceable hard-anodised alloy instead of molded polymer, and there's extra material at the high-pressure points. It's the board built for heavier rigs and repeated hard recoveries.
Can I replace the teeth if they get chewed up?
Yes. Each of the 88 alloy teeth backs out with a T-50 Torx bit and swaps individually. A board that took a beating gets refreshed instead of retired.
What's the load rating?
Each board is rated to 4,500 kg, which covers a loaded full-size truck or a built overland rig.
Does it work in sand, mud, and snow?
Yes. The teeth grip your tire tread and the surface under it, and the shovel ends help clear material before you wedge the board under the tire.
Will a spinning tire damage the teeth?
The alloy teeth handle heat and abuse far better than molded polymer, but they still last longest if you ease off the throttle once the tire catches. Let the board do the work instead of spinning on it.
Is this one board or a pair?
A pair. You get two boards, so you can put one under each drive tire on a recovery.
