The MAXTRAX Rear Wheel Harness is a spare-tire carry system that holds up to 5 MAXTRAX recovery boards on your vehicle's rear-mounted spare. It uses 25mm nylon webbing, a stainless steel hanging bracket, and two ratchet straps rated to 400kg, so a full board stack stays locked down on the trail. A built-in pouch stows your fixing pegs and linking straps with the boards.

Mounting boards on the spare keeps them grab-ready and outside the cabin. After a recovery you can re-stow caked, muddy boards without dragging sand, mud, or snow into your interior or onto your packed gear. The harness fits spare tires up to 37 inches and weighs 1.5kg (3.3 lb) on its own.

One compatibility note up front: the harness needs easy access behind the spare-wheel mount. That means a swing-away carrier or rear bar works well, while a bumper-recessed spare with no clearance behind the wheel does not. Install is quick — wrap, route, and ratchet — and an instructional video walks through first-time setup.
