Overview
The MaxTrax MkII is a pair of single-piece recovery boards built from UV-stabilized engineering-grade reinforced nylon. They get a stuck vehicle moving in sand, mud, or snow without a winch or a second rig.

Will the cleats damage my tires?
No. The cleats are rounded so they grip the tread without shredding it. Ease onto them and you are fine.
Why do people say to drive slow on them?
Spinning the tires builds heat that can glaze or melt the cleats. Use gentle throttle, let the tire climb the board, and they last for years.
Where should I mount them?
Anywhere you can reach fast, since digging boards out of a packed load while you are stuck defeats the point. The keyhole points fit roof, bed, and rear-door mounts.
