The MAXTRAX Mini is a 25-inch traction board, sold here as a signature-orange pair. It runs the same UV-stabilised, engineering-grade reinforced nylon as the full-size MAXTRAX, with 44 molded teeth that bite into both your tire tread and the ground under it. Each board weighs 4.4 lb, so the pair is 8.8 lb. The two stack to just 3.5 inches tall and carry by built-in handles.
The Mini is roughly three-fifths the length of a full MAXTRAX board, which is the whole point: it fits small rigs, UTVs, vans, and trunks where a 45-inch board simply won't ride. That shorter deck gives less run-up, so for heavy trucks buried in deep sand or bog, full-size boards still pull harder. For lighter vehicles and moderate stucks in sand, snow, and mud, the Mini does the job and takes up a fraction of the space.
Each board has a shovel end for clearing material before you wedge it under a tire, plus keyhole accessory points for secure mounting. The Mini links to any other MAXTRAX board with the MAXTRAX Fixing & Linking Kit (sold separately) when you want more length.
