The Jackery Solar Generator 1500 v2 is a bundle: an Explorer 1500 v2 power station plus two SolarSaga 100W Air solar panels. The station carries a 1536Wh LiFePO4 battery, puts out 2000W of continuous AC power with a 4000W surge, and recharges 0 to 100% in 64 minutes on a wall outlet. Seven ports cover the spread — three AC outlets, a 100W USB-C, a 30W USB-C, a USB-A, and a 12V DC car socket — so the fridge, the laptop, and the phone all run at once.

At 31.97 lbs the station is light for a 1.5kWh LFP unit, which makes it easy to move from the rig to the campsite to the garage. The two included panels weigh 7.1 lbs each, fold flat, and feed up to 200W of solar into the station. It takes up to 400W of solar input total, so you can add two more panels later and cut your charge time. One trade-off worth knowing: the station has no IP rating, so keep it under cover. The panels are IP65 and handle rain and dust on their own.

The 1536Wh capacity is fixed — this unit doesn't take expansion batteries — so size it to your draw. For most camp loads, a CPAP, electronics, and a fridge, it carries a long weekend off a single charge and tops back up fast.

Overview

The Jackery Solar Generator 1500 v2 pairs the Explorer 1500 v2 power station (1536Wh LiFePO4, 2000W AC) with two foldable SolarSaga 100W Air panels. It's a self-contained off-grid power kit: store energy in the station, refill it from the panels or a wall outlet.

Key features

  • 1536Wh LiFePO4 battery — 6000+ charge cycles, roughly 10 years of regular use.
  • 2000W continuous / 4000W surge AC output across three AC outlets.
  • 7 ports total — 3x AC, 100W USB-C, 30W USB-C, USB-A, and a 12V DC car socket.
  • 64-minute AC recharge (0–100% fast mode); up to 400W MPPT solar input.

Use cases

Built for van life, weekend camping, and overland trips where you need to run a fridge, charge tools, or keep a CPAP going overnight. The sub-32 lb station and fast recharge also make it a practical home-backup unit for outages — power the fridge and electronics, then top it off from the sun or the wall.
