Can I run the fridge and freezer at the same time?
Yes. The two zones are independently controlled, so you can set one side to refrigerate and the other to freeze, anywhere from 0°F to 50°F each. You can also run both as fridges, both as freezers, or shut one side off and use the whole 95QT box as a single zone.

It draws roughly 0.66 to 1.0 kWh over 24 hours depending on the ambient temperature and whether you're in MAX or ECO mode. ECO mode trims the draw further, and built-in battery-protection cutoffs shut the compressor down before it drains your vehicle's starter battery.
Does it freeze well enough for ice cream?
Yes. The freezer side reaches 0°F, which is cold enough to keep ice cream frozen and hold frozen meat solid, even when it's running in hot weather.
Can I power it from a portable power station or solar?
Yes. The 12V/24V DC input runs off any compatible power station, and you can keep that station topped up with solar panels. There's no direct solar-panel input, so you go through a DC source or power station.
