Will it fit my fridge?
It is cut for the ICECO APL55 (the 55L / 58QT dual-zone 12V fridge/freezer) and only that model. It is not sized for other ICECO units like the VL, GO, or TR series, or for other brands.
Can I open the lid with the cover on?
Yes. A hook design and a thermovent let you lift the lid and reach both temperature zones without taking the cover off.
Does it actually cut power draw?
The added insulation layer slows how fast outside heat reaches the cabinet, so the compressor cycles less and pulls less battery. The gain is biggest in hot weather or direct sun. How much you save depends on ambient temp and how often you open the lid.
Does the cover trap heat around the compressor?
No. The cover is built with a thermovent so airflow stays open on the compressor side. Keep that vent area clear and the fridge breathes normally with the cover on.
Is it waterproof?
Yes. The shell is waterproof oxford nylon that sheds rain and snow and keeps sand, dust, and UV off the fridge body. Wipe it down to clean, and it folds flat when you store it.
