The Ni Glo Gear Marker is a rechargeable glow-in-the-dark marker about 2 inches long that clips to whatever you need to find in the dark. It runs on stored light, not batteries: leave it in the sun, hold it under a headlamp, or set it by a lantern, and the photoluminescent core soaks up the light and gives it back as a steady green glow. Ten minutes under any light gets you a usable glow; two hours of direct sun tops it off for the full run.
Once charged it glows up to 10 hours. It's brightest in the first minutes, then settles into a constant glow you can pick out from up to 25 feet away in full dark. That makes it a find-your-gear marker, not an area light: clip the green one to a tent zipper, a pack, your keys, or a headlamp so you're not patting the ground at 2am.
