Flipside Heated Bed Cover Fleece
Flipside Heated Bed Cover Fleece
The Ignik Flipside Heated Bed Cover Fleece is the same 12V heated bed cover system as the standard Flipside — same 48W draw, same smart controller, same micro-suede nonslip base — with a soft fleece face on the sleeping side instead of the standard polyester. The fleece adds a layer of passive insulation that makes the cover warmer even before the heating elements activate, which matters on the coldest nights when you want immediate comfort before the 12V system has time to bring the temperature up.
The cover draws 48W at max from any 12V power source. The smart controller includes an auto-shutoff and remembers your last heat setting. Ignik rates maximum surface temperature at 140°F and recommends a minimum 500Wh / 4A battery for overnight use. The cover is not compatible with the Anker Solix C1000.
Like the standard Flipside, the Fleece version lies underneath the sleeper — the heated surface faces up, against your body. For full envelope heat, pair it with the Ignik Topside Heated Blanket on top. Single person; one controller; one 12V connection. Battery not included.

Use cases
The Fleece Flipside is built for the same vehicle-based camp use as the standard, with extra passive warmth from the fleece face. Best fit for shoulder-season and winter camping in rooftop tents or truck campers where a 12V house battery or power station is available. The fleece construction also works as a passive blanket when the 12V connection isn't available or convenient. Pairs with the Ignik Topside Heated Blanket for full heated sleep coverage in sub-freezing conditions.

How is the Fleece version different from the standard Flipside?
The Fleece Flipside has a soft fleece face on the sleeping side instead of the standard polyester. The electrical system, smart controller, 48W draw, and micro-suede base are identical to the standard Flipside. The fleece adds passive warmth independent of the heating elements — it's warmer than polyester even without power.
Does the Fleece Flipside use more power than the standard?
No. Both the Fleece and standard Flipside draw the same 48W at max heat from a 12V power source. The fleece face is a material difference only; the heating system is the same.
What is the maximum temperature?
Ignik rates the Flipside Fleece to 140°F surface temperature at maximum heat setting. The smart controller allows you to dial back from max for comfortable overnight use.
What battery do I need?
Ignik recommends a minimum 500Wh battery with at least 4A continuous output on the 12V port. The Flipside Fleece is not compatible with the Anker Solix C1000. On a 500Wh station running at medium heat, expect 6–8 hours of runtime.
Can I use the fleece side without plugging in?
Yes. The fleece face functions as a passive blanket whether or not the 12V system is connected. The heating elements only activate when the controller is powered and running.
Does it work as the bottom layer or the top layer?
The Flipside (including the Fleece version) is designed to lie underneath the sleeper — heated side up, against your body. For top coverage, Ignik makes the Topside Heated Blanket, which goes over you like a traditional blanket. The two products are designed to be used together for full envelope heat.
Is the battery included?
No. A 12V battery or power station (500Wh minimum, 4A output minimum) is sold separately. The 12V vehicle adapter is included in the box.
