Overview
The Crosswing Side Mount Kit attaches a Kammok Crosswing awning to the side of a vehicle rack, freeing the roof for a tent or cargo. It fits both Crosswing sizes and mounts to t-slot crossbars or, with the Crosswing's clamp plates, to bars without t-slots.

Use cases
Built for rigs that are already running a rooftop tent, cargo box, or full roof rack. Side-mount the awning to keep roof real estate free, or drop it low for a garage-friendly profile. Host crossbars should span at least 40 inches, be no more than 1.5 inches in tube diameter, and leave at least 4 inches of clearance between the bar and the roof.

Does this come with the Crosswing awning?
No. The Side Mount Kit is mounting hardware only — two side mount brackets, two riser brackets, and stainless steel fasteners. The Crosswing awning is sold separately.
Will it fit my roof rack?
It mounts directly to t-slot crossbars and most standard roof racks. For bars without t-slots, it works with the Crosswing's included clamp plates. Confirm your crossbars span at least 40 inches, are no more than 1.5 inches in tube diameter, and leave at least 4 inches of clearance between the bar and the roof.
Can I run it under a rooftop tent?
Yes. The kit tucks the awning beneath the tent and bolts to the rack, so the roof stays open for the tent and your other gear.
What angles can I mount the awning at?
Three positions: flat at 0 degrees, tilted up 12.5 degrees, or tilted down 12.5 degrees. The down angle helps shed rain; the up angle opens the shade footprint.
Does it hold up to heavy use?
The brackets are powder-coated steel with stainless steel hardware, so corrosion and trail use are not a concern. Re-torque the fasteners after the first few trips — bracket hardware tends to settle once it's been loaded a few times.
