ARB Single Motor Portable High-Performance 12V Air Compressor
ARB Single Motor Portable High-Performance 12V Air Compressor
The ARB Single Motor Portable 12V Air Compressor is a medium-duty tankless unit that pushes 100 PSI max and pulls up to 32 amps off your 12V battery. Free flow is 3.08 CFM, dropping to 2.34 CFM at 29 PSI, so it airs up a mid-size truck or SUV tire from 20 to 40 PSI in about two minutes. One motor handles both jobs overlanders ask of it: activating ARB Air Lockers and inflating tires.
It runs a 50% duty cycle, 30 minutes on and 30 off at 72°F, with internal thermal protection if it ever runs hot. The whole kit lives in a weatherproof, impact-resistant polypropylene case with a 19 ft air hose, battery clamps, wiring, and the fittings you need. Rated IP55, it shrugs off trail dust and light rain. Single-motor means it is lighter to carry and slower than a twin on 37s, but for one rig and a four-tire airdown-airup cycle it is the right tool.
The unit weighs about 15.4 lb and measures 14.0 x 12.1 x 7.2 in in the case. Backed by a 3-year warranty.

Overview
A single-motor, tankless 12V portable air compressor built for trail airdown-airup and ARB Air Locker duty. Pushes 100 PSI max, 3.08 CFM free flow, in a sealed weatherproof case.
Key features
- Single brushed motor: 100 PSI max, 3.08 CFM free flow, 2.34 CFM at 29 PSI
- Draws up to 32 A at 12V; connect with the included battery clamps
- 50% duty cycle (30 min on / 30 off at 72°F) with internal thermal protection
- IP55-rated against dust and low-pressure water spray
- 19 ft air hose, wiring, clamps, and tire fittings in a weatherproof polypropylene case
Use cases
Built for a 4x4 daily or weekend rig: air down at the trailhead, run your obstacles, then air all four tires back up before the highway. The same unit activates ARB Air Lockers, and the 19 ft hose tops off bike tires, trailers, and rafts back at camp.

How fast does it inflate tires?
About two minutes per tire from 20 to 40 PSI on a mid-size truck or SUV. Larger 35 to 37 in tires take longer per tire depending on the pressure swing, since this is a single-motor medium-duty unit rather than a twin.
Can it run ARB Air Lockers?
Yes. The same unit activates ARB Air Lockers and inflates tires, so you do not need a separate locker compressor.
Will it overheat on a long airup?
It runs a 50% duty cycle, 30 minutes on and 30 off at 72°F, with internal thermal protection. That covers a four-tire airup easily. For continuous high-volume work on a hot day, let it rest between cycles.
Is it weatherproof?
It is rated IP55, sealed against dust and low-pressure water spray, so trail dust and light rain are not a problem. Keep the inline filter clear and wipe the case down after dusty runs.
How long is the hose?
The kit includes a 19 ft air hose, long enough to reach all four tires on most rigs without moving the compressor.
How much current does it draw?
Up to 32 amps at 12V. Use the supplied battery clamps and connect directly to the battery. Do not run it off a small accessory socket.
