The Rollercam 1-Inch Cam Strap with a straight end is a finished, ready-to-use tie-down. The patented cam buckle sits on one end and the webbing runs to a plain flat (straight) tail on the other. Nothing to assemble, no webbing to buy: pick the length and color you need and cinch your load. It's the do-everything strap in the line, the one that handles coolers, gear boxes, firewood, spare tires, and rooftop or rack loads. The straight tail carries no hook, loop, or carabiner, so you wrap the load and feed the tail back through the cam, or run it through an anchor you already have.

The cam is the reason to run it. A brass roller inside the buckle cuts friction, so the tail pulls through easier and snugs down 3 to 5 times tighter than a standard plastic cam. It holds tension on washboard and highway miles without backing off, and you can re-tension it after the load settles, no ratchet bulk and no rattle. One thumb on the release lets go with one hand. The webbing is UV-stabilized high-tenacity polypropylene, stitched with T-135 thread and a triple bar tack. Each strap carries a 350 lb working load limit with a 3:1 safety factor.

Available in Expedition Grey (orange length markers) or Classic Blue (yellow length markers), in lengths from 1 ft to 20 ft, sold individually or in 4-packs. Not rated for overhead lifting or climbing.

Overview

The Rollercam 1-Inch Cam Strap with a straight end is a finished cargo tie-down: a patented cam buckle, attached webbing, and a plain flat tail. You buy it in the length and color you need and use it right away. The straight tail has no anchor hardware, which makes it the all-purpose pick for wrap-and-cinch securing or feeding through an anchor you already have.

Key features

  • Patented Rollercam cam buckle: brass roller cuts friction; snugs 3-5x tighter than a standard cam and re-tensions after the load settles.
  • Straight (flat) finished end: plain tail, no hook/loop/carabiner; feeds back through the cam for wrap-around cinching.
  • 350 lb working load limit per strap, 3:1 safety factor (max load ~1,050 lb). Not for lifting or climbing.
  • UV-stabilized polypropylene webbing, T-135 thread, triple bar tack; metal cam (Zamak body, brass roller, stainless shaft and springs).
  • One-handed thumb release, woven-in length markers, and a choice of 1 ft to 20 ft lengths in two colors, single or 4-pack.

Use cases

Built for overland and off-road tie-down: coolers, gear boxes, firewood, spare tires, and rooftop or rack loads. Run these in truck beds and on roof racks where a strap can't be allowed to creep loose on dirt and washboard.
