What do I plug these into? Is a battery included?
Any 5V USB source works — a power bank, a USB port on your power station, or a vehicle USB outlet. No battery comes in the box, so plan to bring your own USB power.
How bright is 350 lumens, and can I dim it?
At full power it's 350 lumens, bright enough to light a campsite or awning. The in-line dimmer on the cable lets you dial it all the way down to a soft glow for dinner or relaxing.
Will they survive rain?
Yes. They're IP65-rated against rain and dust, so a passing shower won't hurt them and you can leave them strung up between trips.
How much power do they draw, and how long will they run off a power bank?
The whole string draws under 5 watts. Runtime depends on your power bank — a typical 10,000 mAh bank will run them for many hours, and turning the dimmer down stretches that even further.
How do I hang them?
The thin coated wire bends and wraps, so you can run it along an awning arm, around a rooftop tent, or up a canopy pole. No tools or clips needed, and setup takes a couple of minutes.
Is the orange a colored glow or an orange housing?
The orange is the light color itself — a warm amber-orange glow, not a clear bulb in an orange casing. Amber tones also tend to attract fewer bugs than bright white light.
