The Double Decker is TRUKD's maximum-capacity T Series configuration — 24.5" uprights, two full levels of mounting space, built in Pittsburgh from 10-gauge 304 stainless steel and aerospace-grade aluminum.
Upper tier is sized for a rooftop tent and awning. Lower tier handles the rest: hard cases, water jerry cans, Rotopax fuel cells, camp tables and chairs. Both levels run on the same T-slot extrusion channels, so traction boards, MOLLE accessories, and antenna mounts integrate with the same hardware. You're not bolting a rack to your truck — you're adding a modular platform that evolves as your kit does.
Load ratings: 300 lb/set (150 lb/bar) driving, 1,000 lb total (500 lb/bar) parked. The uprights are welded steel; the bars won't flex with an RTT at 70 mph. Install is about 3.5 hours with SAE hand tools only — no power tools, no metric. Step 7 (lifting the assembled rack onto the bed) benefits from a second set of hands.
