What rooftop tents fit the 18.5" T Series?
Soft-shell RTTs and fold-flat designs work well at 18.5". Wedge-style and pop-up hard-shell RTTs generally need the 24.5" height for proper hinge clearance when opening.
What's the height difference between the 18.5" and 24.5" T Series?
Six inches. The 18.5" stays closer to cab height on most full-size trucks, which reduces wind resistance and helps with low-clearance situations. The 24.5" is the call if you need a wedge or pop-up hard-shell RTT.
Which mount style do I need for my truck?
Toyota Tacoma gets Utility Rail or T-Slot Tonneau only. Tundra, Jeep Gladiator, Nissan Frontier, and Nissan Titan get all three options. Ford F150 and up, Chevy, GMC, and RAM get T-Slot and/or Bed Clamps — check the variant selector for your model.
Can I add accessory panels to the 18.5"?
Yes. TRUKD V2 6.5" and 12.5" accessory panels bolt directly onto V2 brackets on the 18.5" rack. Panels must be positioned at the top of the brackets on taller builds.
What's the load rating?
300 lb per set driving (150 lb per bar) and 1,000 lb parked (500 lb per bar). These ratings apply across the entire T Series lineup.
Is the 18.5" T Series compatible with V1 TRUKD racks?
No. T Series components are V2-only and do not interchange with V1 TRUKD hardware.
