The Thor's Lightning Strike is a dual-motor 12V air compressor that pushes 11.5 CFM at 0 PSI and tops out at 150 PSI. That's enough to air up a full set of 37-inch tires in about 4 minutes, hands-free, or a single 37 in under 3 minutes. Set your target pressure on the TotalControl panel, hit start, and the compressor stops itself when it gets there.

It runs a 75% duty cycle with up to 45 minutes of continuous runtime. The dual motors and a redesigned cooling setup keep temps in check on long air-ups: cylinder temps run about 30 degrees F cooler and motor temps about 40 degrees F cooler than the previous model, so it keeps working when a single-motor unit would tap out. ZeroOut calibration lets you reset the gauge from the panel, so your readout stays honest when you climb 5,000 feet between airing down and airing back up. It draws roughly 90A and wires straight to the battery through a 120A Anderson plug, with onboard voltage monitoring watching the battery while it runs.

In the box: the compressor, a padded carry bag, a 9-foot power cable with reinforced battery clamps, a 22-foot high-flow air hose with I/M quick-connect fittings, and the 120A Anderson plug. It's Refuge MOLLE Mount compatible if you'd rather bolt it to a bed rack or panel than run it out of the bag. At about 25 lbs with the kit, it covers trail tire air-up, RV and trailer tires, and 150 PSI air-tool work.

Overview

The Thor's Lightning Strike is a dual-motor 12V air compressor built for trail tire air-up after you've aired down. It moves 11.5 CFM at 0 PSI, peaks at 150 PSI, and runs a 75% duty cycle so it can handle a full set of large tires in one go.

Key features

  • Dual-motor design: 11.5 CFM at 0 PSI, 7.0 CFM at 30 PSI, 150 PSI max output
  • 75% duty cycle with up to 45 minutes of continuous runtime
  • Redesigned cooling drops cylinder temps ~30 degrees F and motor temps ~40 degrees F versus the prior model
  • TotalControl panel sets a target PSI and auto-stops when reached
  • ZeroOut altitude calibration keeps the gauge accurate at elevation
  • 120A Anderson plug, 9-foot cable with reinforced clamps, 22-foot high-flow hose, onboard voltage monitoring

Use cases

Built for overlanders and off-roaders who air down for traction and need a fast, reliable air-up at the end of the trail. It handles a full set of 35 to 37-inch tires hands-free, refills RV and trailer tires, and runs air tools off the 150 PSI output. Mount it to a bed rack with the Refuge MOLLE Mount or run it portable straight from the padded bag.
