The RotopaX 4 Gallon Gasoline pack is a 4.0 US gallon roto-molded fuel can built to bolt to your rig and survive the trail. It is the largest can in the RotopaX line and uses a tall, slim 34 x 13.5 x 3 in profile that lays flat against a bed rail, tire carrier, or tonneau where a boxy jerry can won't fit. The three-layer roto-mold and specialty barrier plastic meet the EPA and CARB low-permeability standard, so it carries fuel legally and does not weep vapor.

A sure-seal gasket keeps the spout from leaking or vibrating loose over washboard, and the included no-spill spout pours clean once you have used it a couple of times. RotopaX backs the can with a 10-year leak-free guarantee. Owners report zero drops after multi-day rock crawls with the can mounted in the open.

Mounts are sold separately, and any RotopaX mount fits any RotopaX can, so you size the can to your range and pick the mount for where you are putting it. Made in the USA. Spout and cap assembly included.

Overview

The RotopaX 4 Gallon Gasoline is the largest fuel can RotopaX makes, holding 4.0 US gallons in a slim 3-in-deep body. Roto-molded construction and a sealed spout make it a mount-and-forget fuel solution for overland and off-road rigs.

Key features

  • 4.0 US gallon capacity, the largest in the RotopaX line
  • Three-layer roto-molded body with specialty barrier plastic; EPA and CARB compliant (CARB EO G-11-044B)
  • Sure-seal gasket keeps the spout from leaking or vibrating loose on rough terrain
  • Slim 34 x 13.5 x 3 in profile mounts flat against bed rails, tire carriers, and tonneau covers
  • No-spill spout and cap assembly included; 10-year leak-free guarantee
  • Compatible with all RotopaX mounts (mount sold separately)

Use cases

Built for long-range overland and off-road travel where the next fuel stop is hours of dirt away. The slim profile lets you mount spare fuel in spots a boxy can won't fit, and the sealed build holds up to multi-day rock crawls without leaking. Common on FJ Cruiser, Tacoma, and Xterra builds with bed, tailgate, or rack mounting.
