Does the printed version hold the same weight as the standard Roo Double?
Yes. Same 500 lb rating and the same Roo Double sizing as the solid version. The print is a colorway, not a different build.
Does it come with straps to hang it?
Not full tree straps. You get two climbing-grade Kanga Claw carabiners (4,720 lbf each) and two Dyneema Racer Slings, which handle the connection at the hammock end. Tree straps are sold separately, so budget for a set if you don't already run them.
Can two people really fit?
Two for sitting, one for sleeping. The ~5 ft 9 in width gives two people room to hang out; most solo users take advantage of the width to lie diagonal and flatter.
How small does it pack?
It stuffs into its own attached roll-top sack — small enough for a daypack or the passenger footwell. The roll-top also keeps the fabric dry in storage.
Is the fabric waterproof?
The fabric has a DWR finish that sheds dew and light moisture, but it's a hammock, not a rain shelter. Pair it with a tarp for wet weather, and pack it dry — store it open-air if it went home damp to keep the DWR working. Stay within the 500 lb rating and keep the Dyneema slings off sharp edges to avoid abrasion.
