The RacksBrax XD Lockable Wall Mount is a pair of quick-release locking bodies that bolt to your garage or shed wall and hold a roof-rack accessory when it is off the vehicle. Locks come pre-fitted. The set ships as two bodies plus keys, part number RBUS9011.

It runs on the same XD Hitch quick-release that lives on your roof rack. Lift the awning (or conduit tube) off the rack, drop it onto the wall bodies, and lock it down — under 10 seconds per move, and the same in reverse. That is the whole point: run the rig as a daily commuter through the week with a bare roof, then re-mount the awning for the weekend without wrestling a heavy unit overhead or leaving it bolted up year-round.

One hard limit to know up front: the wall mount only accepts the RacksBrax XD Hitch range. Your accessory has to already be on XD Hitches for the bodies to take it — this is not a universal storage bracket. If you already run XD Hitches on the vehicle, the supplier can key-match the wall-mount locks to your existing combination; arrange it at order time. Ship weight is about 2 lb (907 g) for the pair.

Overview

A pair of lockable, quick-release wall mounts that store a RacksBrax XD roof-rack accessory off the vehicle and keep it locked. Built for the RacksBrax XD Hitch range only.

Key features

  • Ships as a pair of quick-release bodies with locks pre-fitted, plus keys (part RBUS9011)
  • Accepts any accessory already running on the RacksBrax XD Hitch system — awnings, conduit tubes, and more
  • Under 10 seconds to move an accessory from roof rack to wall, or wall back to roof
  • Locks secure the accessory to the wall, not just rest it there
  • Supplier can key-match the wall-mount locks to an existing XD Hitch combination at order time

Use cases

Most buyers use the pair to clear a heavy awning off the roof between trips so the rig runs quieter and burns less fuel during the week, then re-mount it for the weekend in seconds. The lock means the awning lives secured on the garage wall instead of sliding around a shed corner. It also frees the roof rack to carry a different XD accessory while the awning is parked.
