Do I need the Double or the Triple?

The Double gives you two mounting points and 40 kg total. Awnings over 11.5 m² need three points, so step up to the Triple. Always match or exceed your awning maker's recommended hitch count.

Will it fit my awning?

It fits wing awnings with spine-track spacing between 100 and 120 mm — Darche Eclipse 180/270, 23Zero 270, Howling Moon, and Bush Company 270 among them. A few awnings (Bushwakka, 30 Second, SUPA PEG) need an adaptor.

What tools do I need to install it?

A 13 mm spanner and a socket for the M8 bolts. All the stainless fasteners come in the pack, so there's nothing else to buy for the mount itself.

Can I lock the awning to the vehicle?

Yes. It has an in-built barrel lock plus two keyed locking pins with tethers, so the awning stays attached and secured when you walk away.

How much weight will it hold?

20 kg (44 lb) per point, 40 kg (88 lb) total across the two points. Size your hitch count to the awning — don't push past the per-point limit.

Will it hold up to weather and sun?

The bodies are UV-stabilised glass-reinforced nylon and the hardware is stainless steel. It's built to stay mounted outside year-round without special care.

Does it work with the HD hitch?

No. The XD line only pairs with XD brackets and is not cross-compatible with the HD hitch — they're engineered to different specs.
