We've designed our tiedown point from 3/16th's aluminum. Our mounting holes allow this to be used on our racks or any racks using 1530 series extrusion or the metric equivalent size, or any rack with a single t-slot! It comes in a pack of 2 brackets with the mounting hardware for our rack system.

Overview
A pair of 3/16" aluminum anchor points that mount anywhere on a TRUKD T Series crossbar or 1530-extrusion rack. Anchor spacing is fully adjustable — slide to fit the load, tighten in place.

Use cases
Single-lane cargo runs: space the two brackets at the load width and run a ratchet strap between them. For full-rack coverage, two packs (four points) create independent left-side and right-side tie-down lanes. Also used as secondary lateral anchors when the Rabbit Ears hold a ladder or round object — the Tiedown Points add a backup catch if the load shifts side-to-side.

Does a strap come with this?
No — these are anchor points only. Any hooked ratchet strap, cam buckle, or bungee cord with a flat hook will attach. TRUKD's Rack Mounted Ratchet Strap ($71) is the intended pairing — it stays permanently mounted on the rack and pulls out when needed.
Why only 2 brackets for one tie-down lane — shouldn't there be 4?
Two brackets is the minimum for a single strap run: one anchor forward, one aft. For full-rack coverage (independent left and right lanes), buy two packs. Most buyers start with one pack for a specific load they're running regularly, then add a second pack as the rack build grows.
What racks does this fit beyond TRUKD?
Any rack using 1530-series aluminum extrusion (15mm × 30mm) or a single T-slot. That covers a wide range of aftermarket bed and roof racks. If your rack uses a different slot width or profile, you'll need to source your own T-nuts — TRUKD's included hardware is spec'd for 1530.
What's the load rating?
TRUKD does not publish a bracket load rating. These are static anchor points — not rated for recovery use or dynamic shock loads. For typical cargo tie-down (coolers, gear bags, recovery equipment), they're suitable; for recovery anchors, use purpose-built recovery gear.
Do these work with the Ratchet Strap and Rabbit Ears as a system?
Yes. TRUKD designs all three as an ecosystem: Rabbit Ears capture an RTT ladder laterally, Tiedown Points add secondary hooks, and the Ratchet Strap provides the tensioning cinch over the top. Each product works independently but the trio is the full system for an RTT ladder setup.
