Kammok Python 15 Hammock Straps
Kammok Python 15 Hammock Straps
The Kammok Python 15 is a set of two 15 ft hammock suspension straps built for sites where the trees sit too far apart for a standard 10 ft strap. Combined, the pair reaches about 30 ft, with 33 daisy-chain connection loops per strap so you can dial the hang angle exactly where you want it. The webbing is high-tenacity polyester that doesn't stretch, so the angle you set at dusk is the angle you wake up in.
Each strap tapers from 1.5 in down to 0.75 in. The wider end wraps the tree and spreads the load across more bark, which keeps the strap from biting in or sliding. Nanoweave construction cuts the stitching and bulk out of the webbing while holding a 500 lb rating per strap. Packed, the pair is 11.8 oz and coils down to a 4.5 x 4.5 x 2.5 in bundle in the included Sil/PU-coated stuff sack.
The straps work with any hammock that hangs from a carabiner or toggle — clip into whichever loop sets your angle. Carabiners are not included, so bring your own or use the ones that came with your hammock. Set of two straps plus the stuff sack.

Overview
The Python 15 is a 15 ft hammock suspension strap, sold as a set of two. The extra length spans wide tree spacing and oversized trunks that shorter straps can't reach, while a no-stretch polyester weave holds your hang angle through the night.
Key features
- Two 15 ft straps, roughly 30 ft combined reach
- 33 daisy-chain connection loops per strap for fine hang-angle adjustment
- High-tenacity polyester webbing — static, no-stretch hang
- Variable width, 1.5 in tapering to 0.75 in, to spread bark pressure
- 500 lb weight rating per strap
- 11.8 oz packed; coils into the included Sil/PU stuff sack
Use cases
Reach for the Python 15 when the only anchors are far apart or oversized — backcountry sites, parks, and backyards where two close trees aren't a given. The variable-width design spreads pressure on the bark, which suits protected and Leave-No-Trace areas.

Do these come with carabiners?
No. The Python 15 ships as a set of two straps with a stuff sack. Carabiners are not included — use the ones that came with your hammock or bring your own.
Will they work with a hammock that isn't a Kammok?
Yes. They work with any hammock that hangs from a carabiner or toggle. Wrap the strap around the tree, girth-hitch it, then clip your hammock into one of the 33 loops.
Why choose the 15 ft over the shorter 10 ft straps?
The 15 ft straps reach across wider gaps and around larger trunks where a 10 ft strap falls short. The extra loops also give you finer control over the hang angle. If your trees are usually close together, the shorter strap saves a little weight.
Will the straps stretch and let the hammock sag overnight?
No. The polyester webbing is static, so it doesn't creep under load like nylon can. Set your angle once and it holds through the night. Coil the straps back into the included stuff sack when you pack up.
