Overview
The Rollercam Overland Kit bundles a full spread of Expedition cam-buckle straps plus two Roperollers in a ripstop nylon bag, covering the lengths and end types an overland build uses most. Each strap carries a 350 lb working load and runs the patented Rollercam roller buckle.

Use cases
Strap down a spare tire, a portable fridge, traction boards, a paddle board, jerry cans, or roof-rack firewood. The longer 9' and 15' straps reach across a truck bed for tool boxes and gear bins, while the narrow straps handle lighter kit. Loop and hook ends double as semi-permanent mounts for propane tanks or fuel cans.

How much can each strap hold?
Each strap has a 350 lb working load limit on the 1-inch webbing, with a 3:1 safety factor for roughly a 1,050 lb maximum. That covers the vast majority of overland cargo.
Can I tighten a strap back down after the load settles?
Yes. Pull the loose tail and the cam re-tensions on the spot — no need to unthread and start over. The brass roller holds the new tension.
Will the straps hold on washboard and rough roads?
Yes. The cam keeps tension under vibration, so loads don't rattle loose on washboard or two-track. Re-snug at your first stop if a heavy load shifts.
How is this different from a ratchet strap?
It runs on hand tension, so it's nearly impossible to over-tighten, faster to set, and faster to release. There's no ratchet handle to jam or tangle, and the thumb release opens with one hand.
Which strap should I use for what?
Straight ends thread through anchor points; loop ends stay captive so they can't slip free; hook ends grab metal tie-downs and D-rings; the narrow 0.75" and 1.25" straps handle lighter gear. Feed the webbing with the buckle teeth facing away from the load.
How do I keep the straps in good shape?
Check the webbing for wear before each trip and retire any strap that's frayed or cut. These are cargo tie-downs only — do not use them for climbing or lifting people.
