Does this kit include the awning?

No. It is the walls only. You need a passenger-side Onyx 270 awning to attach them to, and that is sold separately.

Does "Right" have to match my awning?

Yes. This right kit is cut for a right (passenger / curbside) Onyx 270 awning. If your awning mounts on the driver side, you want the left kit instead.

Will it fit a different brand of 270 awning?

No. The panels are cut and zippered for the Onyx 270 specifically, so the zippers and mount points line up only with an Onyx 270 awning.

Is it waterproof?

The panels use a block-out coated polycotton with full storm covers and No.10 zippers, so once it is staked out it sheds rain and blocks wind while staying breathable.

Can I get airflow on hot days?

Yes. Four of the five panels open to oversized mesh screens, and the full-length zippered windows let you fine-tune ventilation without taking any panels off.

Does it come with stakes and ropes?

Yes. Pegs and guy ropes are included, along with a carry bag for pack-down. Stake and guy out every panel even on calm days, since a 270-degree wall catches wind like a sail.

How do I keep the fabric from mildewing?

Pack it dry. If you have to bag it wet to break camp, set it back up or hang it to air out as soon as you can so the coated polycotton does not sit damp.
