The Kammok Mountain Blanket is an 84 x 50 in insulated camp blanket with a 40D diamond-weave ripstop nylon shell and a plush polyester fleece lining, with 240g of polyester insulation between them. Both faces carry a DWR finish, so it sheds dew, light rain, and dirt instead of soaking it up. It packs into its own reversible, fleece-lined stuff sack and totals about 4 lb 6 oz, so it lives in the rig and comes out whenever the temperature drops.
Snaps along the edge let it change jobs. Lay it flat as a ground blanket, snap the edges to make a minimalist sleeping bag, or use the center opening to wear it as a hands-free poncho. Four stake-out snaps pin it down on a windy site.
