The Insulated Pongo Pad is a tapered, three-season inflatable sleeping pad with a 3.1 R-value and 3 inches of loft. Pinneco Mantle synthetic insulation runs the full length of the pad, so there are no dead cold spots from your shoulders to your feet. Inflated, it measures 77 inches long and tapers from 27 inches at the shoulders to 20 inches at the foot — wide where you need it, trimmed where you don't. It carries up to 300 lb and weighs 24 oz on its own.

The taper is built for hammock camping. A wide shoulder box pushes the hammock fabric out for more livable space and a flatter lay, and the included accessory kit (shock cord plus toggles) clips the pad to your suspension so it stays put through the night. The 30D GeckoGrip back is the same trick on the ground — set it on a tent floor and it won't slide around. Spot-welded baffles and the 3-inch thickness keep your hips off the ground for back and side sleepers alike.

Inflate by mouth or with a pump sack through the one-way valve; a separate deflate valve dumps the air fast at pack-up. Packed, it rolls down to 6 x 6 x 9.5 inches in the 40D ripstop stuff sack. The pad ships with the stuff sack, the hammock accessory kit, and a patch repair kit, and it's covered by Kammok's lifetime warranty. Air pump sold separately.

  • Tapered mummy shape, 77 in long, 27 in shoulders to 20 in foot; wide shoulder box for a flat hammock lay
  • 30D GeckoGrip non-slip back keeps the pad in place in a hammock or on a tent floor
  • Packs to 6 x 6 x 9.5 in at 24 oz; ships with stuff sack, hammock accessory kit, and patch repair kit

Use cases

Designed first for hammock campers running a Roo or Mantis, where the taper and shoulder box deliver the flattest lay. The non-slip back makes it a clean dual-duty pad for ground nights too, so one pad covers both hammock and tent trips on a three-season kit.
