Do I still need an air compressor?
Yes, for airing up. The kit splits one air source out to four tires; bring any compressor or on-board air and connect it to the industrial coupler plug. Airing down needs no compressor at all — just open the slide valve.
What's the difference between the Standard Manifold and Air Command?
The Standard Manifold is manual. You open and close the slide valve and watch the digital gauge to hit your target PSI. Air Command adds an electronic controller that sets a target pressure and stops automatically. This kit is the manual one.
How is the Hyperflex hose different from the Recoil hose?
Hyperflex is the hybrid-polymer hose, rated to 300 PSI and a 160-inch wheelbase. The Recoil hose is polyurethane, rated to 150 PSI and a longer 180-inch wheelbase. Hyperflex trades a little reach for a tougher, higher-pressure hose.
What size vehicle does it fit?
It reaches up to a 160-inch wheelbase, which covers most trucks, SUVs, Jeeps, and a lot of UTVs. Measure your wheelbase first if you run a long-bed or a stretched rig.
Does it fit my tire valves?
Yes. The Rapid Locking air chucks push straight onto standard Schrader valve stems found on cars, trucks, and UTVs.
Why does the gauge read a little different from my TPMS?
Gauge readings can vary by about 3 PSI from your TPMS depending on altitude and how your sensors are calibrated. Pick the reference you trust and set every tire to the same number. After airing up, close the slide valve and use gloves before disconnecting, since the fittings can get warm.
