The Heretic Roof Rack Handle with Scene Light is a pair of CNC-machined 6061 billet aluminum grab handles, each with a 600-lumen LED built into the body. They bolt to the side of your roof rack and give you a solid, fixed grip to pull yourself up onto the roof or haul gear over the rail. Each light is aimed 30 degrees down, so it throws light on the ground beside the rig instead of glaring off the roof.

Each handle draws 0.4A at 13.8V, so running both pulls under 1A total. The housing is IP68 sealed against dust and water, and it runs anywhere from 9V to 24V. Lenses are clear out of the box and pop out for color swaps later. The light module measures 3 x 1.5 x 2 inches and sits flush in the handle body, with cooling fins machined into the single block.

The pair ships with both handles, mounting hardware, and two butt splices with heat shrink. The switch and power harness are sold separately, so plan on wiring those in during install.

Overview

A pair of 6061 billet aluminum roof-rack grab handles with an integrated 600-lumen LED in each. They give you a fixed hand-hold for climbing up and loading the roof, plus down-aimed scene lighting beside the rig.

Key features

  • CNC-machined 6061 billet aluminum housing, single block with cooling fins
  • 600 lumens per handle, 6W, aimed 30 degrees downward
  • 0.4A draw at 13.8V per light; 9V to 24V compatible
  • IP68 sealed against dust and water
  • Clear interchangeable lenses (replacements sold separately)
  • Ships as a pair with mounting hardware and two butt splices

Use cases

Bolt them to the side of a roof rack as the spot you grab to climb up or pull gear over the rail, instead of stressing the rack itself. The 30-degree downward beam also works as scene lighting for setting up camp or finding gear next to the vehicle after dark.
