The Ni Glo Gear Marker is a 2-inch glow-in-the-dark tag for keys and gear, in blue. It runs on light, not batteries: a strontium photoluminescent body soaks up sun, headlamp, or room light and gives it back as a glow you can spot from about 25 ft. There's no battery to die and no tritium to replace — charge it in roughly 10 minutes, or top it off with 2 hours of direct sun for the strongest, longest glow.
Glow starts bright for the first couple of hours, then settles into a soft constant glow that holds up to 10 hours. That's enough to find a tent zipper, a knife, or your truck keys in a dark campsite — it's a marker, not a path light. The body is IPX8 waterproof and dust-proof, rated to 164 ft of water depth, so it works in rain, snow, or on a dive.
A stainless steel keyring clips it to a zipper pull, a pack strap, a key fob, or a cooler latch. At about 8 grams (0.28 oz) it disappears into your kit until the lights go out.
