The Heroclip Large is a fold-flat swivel carabiner that turns almost any edge into a hanging point. The body is aircraft-grade anodized aluminum with a stainless steel gate, so it weighs about 3.4 oz but carries up to 100 lb of gear. A 360-degree rotating hook and a joint that pivots 180 degrees let you set it over a rail, tent pole, awning arm, or branch and clip your load to the carabiner side. The Hot Rod Red finish makes it easy to spot in a pack or a dark truck bed.
It opens to 9.1 in tall and runs about 40% larger than the Medium, which makes it the size for bulky, awkward loads — a daypack, a dry bag, a floodlight, even a kayak or paddleboard at the rig. When you are not using it, the hook folds flat against the carabiner so it clips onto a pack strap or roof rail and rides along until you need it.
