DMOS Full Mounty Shovel/Axe Roll Bar Mount

The DMOS Gear Up Full Mounty is a set of two roll bar tool mounts machined from 6061 aluminum with stainless-steel hardware. It clamps directly to round bars without drilling, making it the go-to option for rigs where flat mounting surfaces aren't available.

Bar compatibility: Fits round bars from 0.95 to 2.25 inches in diameter. Covers roof rack tubes, roll cage bars, UTV/ATV overhead frames, van ladder rungs, and cargo basket uprights.

Tool compatibility: Reversible dual-size silicone grip pads fit tool handles from 0.95 to 1.75 inches. Holds tools up to 10 lbs — all DMOS shovels and the Axpedition axe are within spec.

Orientation: The tool-side bracket rotates 90 degrees, allowing in-line (horizontal tool along bar) or perpendicular (vertical tool) mounting to fit different rig configurations.

Set of 2: Each package includes two mounts. Both are required to secure a single shovel or axe — one mount per end of the tool handle.

How many mounts come in the package?

Two. Both are required to mount one tool — one at each end of the handle. The $199 price covers the complete set.

What bars can it clamp to?

Round bars from 0.95 to 2.25 inches in diameter. This includes most roof rack crossbars and uprights, roll cage tubing, UTV/ATV overhead bars, van interior ladder rungs, and cargo basket uprights. Oval or flat bars are not compatible.

What's the difference between the Full Mounty and the Flat Mate?

Full Mounty: clamps to round bars (roll cages, rack tubes, UTV frames). Flat Mate: bolts to flat surfaces (MOLLE panels, cargo trays, platform decks). Same tool and bar diameter compatibility, different mounting geometry.

Can I mount it vertically or horizontally?

Yes. The tool-side bracket rotates 90 degrees — mount in-line with the bar (tool runs horizontal, parallel to the bar) or perpendicular (tool stands vertical). Useful for fitting a shovel between rack crossbars or standing it upright on a roll cage.

Does it work on UTVs and ATVs?

Yes. The 0.95–2.25 inch bar range covers most UTV/ATV overhead roll bar tubing. A common application is mounting a shovel or axe to the overhead cage of a Polaris RZR, Can-Am, or similar rig.
