How much wind can it handle?
The Crosswing awning on its own is rated to 25 mph. With the tie-down kit guying out the front corners, it gains security for gusts up to 35 mph. Treat 35 mph as the line to stow, not a number to push — in sustained higher wind, retract the awning. Its fast closure makes that quick.
Can I anchor it on pavement where I can't drive a stake?
Yes. Fill the sandbags and set them on the lines, or wrap a guy line around a hard point — a loaded cooler or a vehicle wheel — and clip the knotless hook. No ground penetration needed.
