Crosswing Bug Room
Crosswing Bug Room
Effortless Setup
Designed for simplicity, the Crosswing Bug Room is quick to set up and take down. It installs just like a bed sheet (in reverse), making it user-friendly and hassle-free. When not in use, it conveniently packs into a small zipper bag that can be easily stored in your gear.
Durable and Breathable
Crafted with high-quality No-see-um mesh and a ripstop kick panel, the Bug Room is built for durability. The fine mesh ensures excellent visibility while keeping those pesky insects outside, so you can enjoy the fresh air without distraction. Plus, the snag-proof material guarantees long-lasting protection.
Full Access, Full Comfort
The Crosswing Bug Room is equipped with zipper doors on all four sides, giving you full access to your vehicle when in use. No need to worry about reaching your car or gear – everything is within arm's reach, making your setup more convenient than ever.
Ideal for Extended Setups
Perfect for those who plan to use the Crosswing for longer periods, the Bug Room is ideal for camps, beach days, tailgating, or picnics that last more than an hour. Enjoy the outdoors without worrying about insects disrupting your time.
Pro Tip for Stability
While the Crosswing Pole Pack is not required, it’s highly recommended for your Bug Room setup to ensure stability and avoid accidental strain on the Crosswing structure, especially when the gear gets pulled or tugged.

Use cases
Best for stays that run longer than an hour — camp dinners, beach days, tailgates, and picnics where gnats and mosquitoes would otherwise drive you off. It also makes a screened nap or sleep space under the awning on extended trips, since the four doors let you move in and out without unzipping the whole thing.

Will the Bug Room fit my Crosswing awning?
It's built for the 7 ft Crosswing awning only and will not fit the 5 ft Crosswing. For a clean fit, mount the awning between 68 and 83 inches high.
Do I need the Crosswing Pole Pack to use it?
No. The Bug Room works without it. Adding two corner poles gives the structure extra support so a tug on the mesh loads the poles instead of the awning arms — worth it for multi-hour or breezy setups, but not required.
How does it attach, and how long does setup take?
An elastic top wraps the deployed awning perimeter and buckles in place, like a fitted bed sheet upside down — no tools. It goes up in a couple of minutes in calm conditions; stake the eight points down if there's any wind.
Can I still reach my vehicle once it's set up?
Yes. There are zippered doors on all four sides, so you can get to your rig and gear from any direction without taking the enclosure down.
Will it hold up in wind?
Stake all eight points in any breeze. Kammok recommends taking the setup down once wind hits about 25 mph to avoid straining the awning and mesh.
How do I keep the hem from gapping at the ground?
Use the one-time Velcro kickplate adjustment to set the hem height for your mount once. After that it stays dialed, so there's no loose fabric pooling on the ground.
