Bushman Awning 90" (90X98) + Room

Overview

The 23Zero Bushman 90 Awning + Room is a vehicle-awning bundle that converts a roof-rack awning into a 61 sq ft enclosed room. The awning provides the roof; the LST-fabric room walls it in with a zip-out floor and four sides of door/window access.

Key features

• 61 sq ft enclosed floor — room sets up 90 in W x 98 in D x 72-75 in H, adjustable on hook-and-loop ceiling straps.
• LST hex-ripstop walls — Light Suppression Technology coating blocks sun, keeps the interior cooler and darker for daytime use.
• Full zip-out floor — leave it sealed for sleeping or pull it to run a stove/cooler on bare ground.
• Four-side access — front door, rear door (opens to your rig), and side doors/windows, all mesh-screened for airflow and bug control.
• Rivet-free aluminum awning — 98 in x 90 in open, 290gsm polycotton ripstop with 1500mm PU coating, ships with 3 brackets, 2 guy lines, 6 stakes, and a wrench.

Use cases

Buyers run it as a private, bug- and weather-sealed sleeping room off the rig, as a dark daytime nap/shade room, and as pet housing or gear-staging space at basecamp. The rear door connects the room to a trailer or vehicle for a continuous, sealed entry, and the zip-out floor turns it into a covered cook space when needed.

Which awning does this room fit?

It is purpose-built for the 23Zero Bushman 90 (90 x 98) straight-pull awning, which is included in this bundle. The room will not fit other awning sizes or shapes.

Can one person set it up?

Yes. The room hangs from the awning ceiling on hook-and-loop straps and clips to the front poles, so most buyers report putting it up and taking it down solo.

How tall is it inside, and can I change the height?

Standing height runs 72 to 75 in. You set it on the hook-and-loop ceiling straps, so the final height depends on how high the awning itself is mounted on your rack.

Does the floor really come all the way out?

Yes. The full floor zips out completely. Leave it in for a sealed sleeping room, or pull it to set the room over uneven ground or to run a stove or cooler on dirt.

Will it actually block light and heat?

The hex ripstop walls use Light Suppression Technology — a dark coating that cuts sun intrusion and keeps the interior cooler and darker than standard tan canvas. Buyers single it out for daytime naps.

How do I keep the awning fabric from mildewing?

The awning canvas is 290gsm polycotton. Let it dry fully before you pack it away; rolling up wet canvas invites mildew. Shake out and brush off the room's zip-out floor before repacking so grit stays out of the zippers.
