The Rollercam 1-Inch Cam Strap, Carabiner End is a finished tie-down strap you buy in the length and color you need and use right away. It's a length of 1-inch webbing with the patented Rollercam buckle on one end and a locking aluminum carabiner on the other. Clip the carabiner to a D-ring, rail eye, or loop, run the webbing over your load, and snug it down. Working load is 350 lb, with a max load near 1,050 lb at a 3:1 safety factor.

The carabiner is the reason to pick this end. Its gate latches closed around the anchor, so it can't bounce off a rail eye or D-ring when the trail turns to washboard the way an open hook can. The Rollercam buckle is the other half of the story: instead of pinching the webbing, a rolling cam bites it, so it holds without slipping under road vibration and you can snug it tighter by hand after the load settles. Release is a one-handed thumb press on the Zamak alloy lever — no ratchet bulk, no knot to pick apart.

It's built to get wet. The webbing is UV-resistant polypropylene, the roller is marine-grade brass, and the shaft and springs are stainless, so it keeps its grip soaked and shrugs off saltwater. Pick from six lengths — 4', 6', 9', 12', 15', and 20' — in Graphite or Black.

Overview

The Rollercam 1-Inch Cam Strap, Carabiner End is a complete cam tie-down strap with a locking aluminum carabiner on one end and the patented Rollercam buckle on the other. Buy it in the length and color you need and put it to work — nothing to assemble.

Key features

  • Locking aluminum carabiner — the gate latches closed around a D-ring, rail eye, or loop, so it can't bounce off like an open hook on rough roads
  • Patented Rollercam buckle — a rolling cam bites the webbing instead of pinching it; holds without slipping under vibration and re-tensions tighter by hand after the load settles
  • One-handed release — a thumb press on the Zamak alloy lever frees the strap, no ratchet and no knot
  • 350 lb working load — about 1,050 lb max load at a 3:1 safety factor
  • Built to get wet — UV-resistant polypropylene webbing, marine-grade brass roller, stainless shaft and springs, triple bar-tack stitching

Use cases

Tie down overland gear, traction boards, jerry cans, fridges, and tool boxes on a rack or in a truck bed, and lash kayaks or rafts to trailers and carts on multi-day river trips. Reach for the carabiner end any time the anchor is a closed loop or eye and you want a positive, locking clip instead of an open hook. Pick the length to match the run and the color to match your rig.
