The Velit 2000R Mini is one of the smallest DC rooftop air conditioners built to fit a standard 14×14 in. cutout. At 6.5 in. of exterior clearance — half an inch shorter than the full 2000R — it fits low-profile builds where rooftop clearance is tight. The twin-cylinder rotary compressor delivers 7,000 BTU at 12V and 8,500 BTU at 48V, drawing 20–50A at 12V or 5–14A at 48V. No inverter required.
The 12V version is notable for running directly off most vehicle alternators without a secondary battery — useful for short trips or builds that haven't added a house bank yet. Available in 12V or 48V only (no 24V variant). Fits the same 14×14 in. cutout as the full 2000R. Installation kit includes the AC unit, mounting brackets, sealing gasket, hardware, interior trim panel, remote, and a 15 ft wiring harness with in-line fuse (6 AWG for 12V, 12 AWG for 48V). Sealant sold separately; required for curved van roofs, not needed for flat RV roofs. One-year limited warranty.
