XGRiD Campers gets you the rig. XGRiD Outfitters kits it out.
We're the gear arm of XGRiD Campers — same crew, same obsession with getting people farther off the pavement and keeping them comfortable when they get there. We started Outfitters for a simple reason: the people buying our campers kept asking the same question. "Okay, the trailer's sorted. Now what do I actually need to bring?"
So we went and answered it. Properly.
We curate, we don't just stock
There are a lot of places to buy overland gear. Most of them throw ten thousand products at you and let you sort it out. We do the opposite.
Every product on this site got picked on purpose. We carry the brands we trust on our own trips — Jackery, Kammok, Blue Ridge Overland Gear, RotopaX, and a couple dozen more — and within those brands we carry the specific items that actually earn their spot in a build. If a product didn't make the cut, you won't find it here. That's the whole point.
When you read a product page, you're not reading a spec sheet a robot scraped off a box. You're reading what the gear does, what it's good at, where it falls short, and whether it's the right call for your setup. Straight talk, real numbers, no marketing fog.

How it ships
A lot of our gear ships straight from the brand's own warehouse to your door. That keeps our catalog deep and our prices honest — we're not marking up to cover a warehouse full of inventory. It also means the gear gets to you fast and factory-fresh. (It's why returns start with a quick message to us — reach out and we'll take care of it.)

How we got here
XGRiD Outfitters didn't start as a website. It started as a question we kept hearing on the showroom floor: "Okay — what gear do I actually need for this thing?"
XGRiD Campers opened in 2020, when founder Loren Walker went looking for an off-road camper worth owning, struck out at every big-box dealer in the country, and decided to build the kind of dealership he wished he'd found. The idea caught on. In March 2023 we brought XGRiD east to Knoxville, Tennessee — led by Jeremy and Chris Long, who started out as XGRiD customers before they became partners. (That's kind of our thing around here. A lot of the XGRiD family showed up as customers first.)
From day one, every camper that rolls off our lot gets outfitted in our shops — the right power setup, the right recovery gear, the right kitchen. The only catch was you had to be standing in Las Vegas or Knoxville to get that treatment. XGRiD Outfitters fixes that: the same hand-picked gear, the same straight advice, shipped to wherever you're pointed.
