The Velit 2000R is a DC-powered rooftop air conditioner for RVs, camper vans, and truck campers running 12V, 24V, or 48V electrical systems. Do I need an inverter or generator to run the Velit 2000R?

Which voltage should I choose — 12V, 24V, or 48V?
Match the voltage to your existing electrical system. The 12V version works with most existing van setups and can run directly off a vehicle alternator while driving (verify your alternator's output vs. the 60A max draw). The 24V and 48V versions are more efficient — the 48V variant draws only 5–18A compared to 20–60A at 12V.
